Ancient Roman Lunch (Prandium)
In my English class this past week, I had to do a project on Ancient Roman's lunch, which was also called Prandium. I researched what they would eat for lunch and pretty much what I got out of it was that they ate bread and cheese and drank watered down wine. Sometimes they would eat the leftovers from the night before. When I brought my food into class, I brought 3 different kinds of cheese and bread that was kind of like toast. I also brought grape juice into drink because obviously we couldn't bring wine. Here is a picture of what the Ancient Romans would have eaten at prandium.
